Short Courses & Master Classes

Canberra Potters offers a range of short courses throughout the year to inspire and enthuse potters everywhere. We offer short courses for both experienced and developing potters.

Build your skills and fire your imagination

Short Courses vary in length from our popular five-day Summer and Winter schools to half day, evening and weekend courses across a wide range of ceramic techniques.

We draw on a wealth of ceramic experience with local, interstate and international artists facilitating courses at our beautiful North Canberra location.

Summer and Winter Schools offer an intensive and immersive 5-day experience with an expert in their field. Past schools have included Janet DeBoos, Carla Wolfs (Netherlands), Malcolm Cooke, Jenny Orchard, Bev Hogg, John Tuckwell, Michelle Young Hares (Scotland), Ruth Ju Shih Li, Kazuya Ishida, Rob Linigen, Julie Bartholomew and Malcolm Greenwood.

We are always interested in your ideas for our short course program. Contact [email protected] if you would like to suggest an artist or a theme.
