Canberra Potters Exhibition Program
5 June 2020
Monday 1 June—Canberra Potters/Watson Arts Centre returns to Level 2—Moderate Risk on our COVID-19 Response Plan.
This means our staff have returned to site in preparation for reopening classes and to work toward Stage 2. Access to the premises is still by appointment only and the gates will remain locked.
Monday 8 June—Students return to complete Term 1 classes.
Only staff, teachers and students who have a current class enrolment are permitted onsite.
Monday 6 July—Members and general public allowed back onsite.
Assuming conditions remain favourable and under the guidance of health authorities, we aim to be able to welcome members and the general public back onsite. Although visitation will be restricted and we ask that when returning you come for specific purposes only and adhere to social distancing and appropriate health protocols. Information will be provided closer to the time to help you attend the facility in a COVIDSafe manner.
Thursday 9 July—Gallery and Shop reopens.
We’re delighted to announce that our resuming gallery program will begin with our beloved Student | Teacher exhibition. We are looking forward to relaunching our bricks and mortar shop too with fresh stock from member artists new and known.
Monday 20 July—Term 3 commences.
We hope to return to our full class offering for Term 3, by this time we may even be able to cater for slightly larger classes.
Some activities will take longer than others to reinstate and we hope that the Members Workshop, Glaze Shed, Tea Room, Library and our Artist in Residence program will return sooner rather than later.
