Can you attend the Volunteer Meet and Greet from 2-3:30pm Saturday 3 August?*

All volunteers must be able to attend an orientation afternoon on Saturday 3 August from 2-3:30pm unless by prior arrangement. Attendees and are invited to meet and greet Canberra Potters staff and fellow volunteers over complimentary tea, coffee and refreshments. You will undertake a short orientation to prepare you for the tasks you'll be assigned at the event. Please note that volunteers for the petal and raku kilns may be required to stay longer. You will also receive your event t-shirt for you to wear on the night.

Each volunteer will receive a free "Fired Up: What the Flux?!" t-shirt. The t-shirts are unisex, but are listed as "Mens" sizes. Access the size chart via the button above for more details. Please note that although we will try and fulfill all sizing requests we cannot guarantee you will receive your requested size.

Behaviour Policy*

Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner at all times while on site at Canberra Potters. Canberra Potters has a responsibility to provide an environment that is safe, healthy and harassment-free. The safety of staff, members, volunteers, tenants, visitors and other users of the facility is the primary concern of Management and harassment, discrimination or any form of inappropriate or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the Fired Up 2024 event and future events. Management expects volunteers and all affiliated parties to comply with the Canberra Potters ethos, policies, and procedures at all times.

If harassment, discrimination or any form of inappropriate or threatening behaviour is attributed to a volunteer, verbal and/or written warnings will be given. If the volunteer's response to those warnings is deemed unacceptable Management maintains the right to withdraw access to the facility at any time. In this case, Management will not be held liable for any costs associated with the termination of the volunteer's participation in the event.
