Canberra Potters has four purpose-built studios that provide an affordable space for emerging and established ceramic artists. Studios are open to the public by prior arrangement with the artist, and during dedicated open studio events.

Everything Flows

Everything Flows Studio is a Canberra-based ceramic studio founded by Jacky and Celine, creating wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics inspired by movement and everyday life. Their work focuses on simple forms, thoughtful design, and the connection between maker and material. Discover their work

AC Parnell

AC Parnell is an emerging artist of Irish settler heritage working between Canberra and Sydney. A 2021 Honours graduate in Sculpture and Spatial Practice at the Australian National University, their ceramics background shapes their practice. Parnell explores how systems such as kiln firing, AI and performance transform materials and generate meaning. Discover their work

Isabel Chen

Isabel Chen is an emerging ceramic artist who is fascinated by the possibilities of clay, local materials and the utility of functional ware since 2022. Inspired by natural forms and textures, she seeks to capture the expressions of clay brushed by fire to create visual and tactile intrigue and joy in everyday objects. Discover their work

Sarah Brown

Sarah is a Scottish potter and designer who currently lives and works in Kamberra / Canberra. A recent architecture graduate from the University of Canberra, her practice is driven by a deep interest in the tactile qualities of materials found around her. Drawing inspiration from both natural and built environments, her work weaves together craft, design, and architectural form. Discover their work

Leah Jackson

Leah Jackson is a Canberra based ceramicist. Having most recently maintained a production studio in Victoria focused primarily on tableware, a new studio in the CPS precinct presents an exciting opportunity to continue earlier explorations in different surface treatments and firing methodologies. Lia Tacjnar

Mark Saunders

Mark uses slip casting techniques to create playful functional ware with an emphasis on colour and clean lines.

Mark completed a Bachelor of Visual Art Major in Ceramics at the ANU in 2014.

Richilde Flavell

Richilde Flavell is a Canberra based emerging artist working with ceramics. Primarily designing and making functional ceramics under her label Girl Nomad Ceramics. Richilde experiments with a variety of clays and glazes, to make work that is subtle, featuring soft lines with contrasting and complementary elements.

Shesha (Raj) Reddy

Shesha (Raj) Reddy ’s current area of interest is an exploration of functional-ware as sculpture in the domestic setting, which combines his interest in ceramic processes and prototyping methods as a way to iterate design ideas.
