Pottery Classes for Kids, Tweens and Teens (Ages 6–16)
Creative, fun and hands-on learning with clay
Canberra Potters has offered pottery classes for school-aged children for over 30 years. We’ve nurtured the creativity of more than a generation of ACT and regional kids—some have even returned as teachers!
Our classes support children to:
- Explore their creativity
- Learn problem-solving and clay techniques
- Work with experienced and encouraging teachers
- Make friends and build confidence
Each weekly session provides space to imagine, make, and develop skills that support growth beyond the studio.
A range of classes are available for kids and teens aged 6 to 16 years.
Parents are welcome to enrol alongside their child and join the fun.
No screens needed—just clay, ideas, and a little curiosity.
Please note – Canberra Potters do not offer make up classes for missed classes.
Waitlisting
If you miss out on booking a class, you can now add your name to our class waitlists. To do this:
- Go to the booking page of the class/es you would like to attend – if you are interested in multiple classes you will need to add your name to each of the class waitlists.
- Enter your email address into the “waitlist” field underneath the class heading (under “This class is fully booked”) and click on the “ADD TO WAITLIST” button.
- Ensure admin@canberrapotters.com.au is in your trusted contacts list to ensure our notifications reach your
