Welcome to the Canberra Potters Shop
The Canberra Potters Shop is filled to the brim with unique, handmade ceramic creations. We stock work created by some of our professional and semi-professional members including functional ware, sculptures, garden ware and jewellery. Alongside our local makers, we also stock work from past visiting artists both national and international.
Opened at Watson Arts Centre in October 2001, the Canberra Potters Shop is an initiative of Canberra Potters’ Society. We invite you to pop in for a visit and to delve into the wonderful world of clay. Our brick-and-mortar shop is open Tuesday to Friday 10am-4pm, and Saturday and Sunday 10am-2pm, closed Mondays. Our online store is always open.
Clay Lovers
We have a wide range of ceramic tools for sale as well as Design Colour underglazes, ceramic magazines, and of course, clay.
Not a clay maker yet but want to give it a try? We stock a range of Clay Away Kits so you can make at home! We have kits suitable for children and adults, all of which are perfect for those with some or no clay experience.
All tools, underglazes, magazines, and Clay Away Kits can be purchased in store or online. Please note, clay is not available to purchase online, and all online purchases require in-store collection.
Canberra Potters Members are welcome to bring their work into the shop to access our ‘Weigh & Pay’ firing service. For more information regarding this service, click here.
