2026 Fired Up Event Volunteers

FIRED UP 2026 – SATURDAY 15 AUGUST, 3PM – 8PM

Held over one afternoon and evening during the month of August, Fired Up is Canberra Potters’ annual winter festival celebrating ceramic making, creativity and community. Offering a dynamic program of demonstrations, ‘have a go’ activities, markets, food, music and entertainment, the event has historically proven one of our most highly anticipated and attended calendar events with over 1200 people visiting throughout the day in 2024.

We need your help to make the event a success! Fired Up! is a massive undertaking for our small staff and we really can’t deliver it without the generous support of volunteers. Some roles require expertise and some just enthusiasm! To let us know you’re available and which activities you would like to support, please fill in the form below. Volunteers who are able to assist during the event will receive a free limited edition Fired Up apron, a bowl of soup and bread roll and free entry. Free entry is included for those who are volunteering in the lead up as well. There are loads of opportunities to volunteer before the event, during and after.

We will be holding an induction session for all volunteers in the week leading up to Fired Up. Please indicate your preferred availability.(Required)
