Forms can change. We evolve, they evolve. Explore the possibilities.
It's not where you start, it's where you finish. But to finish might be a new start.
Have you ever wondered what is possible beyond your current stylistic output?
In this one day workshop for beginners and experienced potters alike, Daniel Skeffington will interrogate form as the basis for our work. Asking questions such as - What if we mix it up? What will we discover? How can you use a new way of seeing to evolve your making? Daniel will challenge participants to stretch their ideas and create new forms or develop existing ones
This workshop is about exploring, about being brave, about seeing what becomes.
Please note that this course does not include firing.
You will need to bring
- your ceramic toolkit,
- a notebook or art journal and pens.
- Lunch and snacks. Food and drink can also be purchased at Watson shops a short drive away.
