Dark Clay Pottery Sessions: Flexible Studio Time for Members
Dark Clay is our weeknight hybrid session, offering more than just member workshop access but without the full commitment of a term class.
Is Dark Clay Right for You?
- Need a few weeks of studio time to complete a project or commission?
- Want some extra time to work on your class projects?
- Need the discipline of booked time or the motivation of working alongside other potters?
- Just want a few weeks to create without committing to a full term of classes?
What is Dark Clay? Dark Clay is an evening session where Canberra Potters members can come together to use our facilities after hours on a weeknight. These sessions are booked in 4-week blocks over four Thursday nights, with two blocks available each term. You can book one block or both, depending on your needs.
Participants will have access to Workshop One and the Glaze Shed, providing a dedicated time and space to work on your own projects in the company of others or to enjoy a peaceful environment to create.
Support and Supervision: A Canberra Potters teacher will be present during the sessions to assist participants, answer questions, provide advice, help you troubleshoot issues, and provide general support with equipment and facilities. Please note that these sessions are not designed to replace a class; if you’re looking for a taught workshop or term class, please visit our Learn page for upcoming courses.
Who Should Join? Dark Clay is ideal for those who have taken any of our courses or who are already working on their own projects but would like the company of other potters, advice or need additional space and facilities.
Requirements:
- Current Canberra Potters membership
