Sculpting with Character is about letting your imagination free to create characterful vessels, people and creatures in clay. If you're looking to explore a more whimisical and figurative approach to your scuptures then this is the class for you. Jackie will discuss and demonstrate techniques and skills to hand build with confidence and decorate your sculptures using underglazes and oxides to bring out their personality and style.
Over the term you will have the opportunity to work on several pieces with the support of a talented teacher skilled in this style of ceramics. Jackie's short courses are always very popular. We are delighted to be able to offer a whole term of exploring figurative and whimiscal sculptures in term two.
For intermediate potters. Some experience in handbuilding required
