 Workshop One

For confident intermediate and advanced students, these special courses offer the opportunity to explore and dig deeper into a specific ceramic skillset with like minded people. Taught by teachers with specialist knowledge, these classes change from term to term and are a great way to build your ceramics skill and knowledge, or learn something new.

Clay and tool can be purchased in class or from our shop.

This course is suitable for those who can centre clay with confidence or have experience throwing and are interested in developing skills in making teapots and lidded forms. Working with a teacher skilled in making ceramics for restaurants students will explore basic design principles and plan a range of lidded vessels and teapots in their journal/sketchbook. Over the term students will develop and refine their forms and focus on developing a unique, personal style.
