For confident intermediate and advanced students, these special courses offer the opportunity to explore and dig deeper into a specific ceramic skillset with like minded people. Taught by teachers with specialist knowledge, these classes change from term to term and are a great way to build your ceramics skill and knowledge, or learn something new.

Clay and tool can be purchased in class or from our shop.

Please note this class has eight sessions this term. There will be no class on Saturday 3 April 2021 (Easter Saturday)

Some classes also provide supported teaching for people with disabilities.

This course is suitable for those who have some hand building experience or have completed Clay Foundation - Hand building. Students will learn about developing handbuilt forms to create unique, well resolved vessels and sculptures. This class includes discussion on developing glazes for more sculptural forms and post firing assemblage.

Clay and firing are an additional cost.
