Clay Foundation classes are designed for those who have completed an Introduction to Clay course or have some basic clay skills. These courses focus on the basic skills and techniques already learned to develop and extend your ceramics skills and knowledge.
This class is designed for people with some hand building experience or who have completed an Introduction to Clay class.
Tools and clay can be purchased at Canberra Potters shop or during class.
BOOKED OUT
The focus of the course is on developing students' skills and understanding of the three basic forms of hand building: pinching, coiling and slab building.
Students will learn techniques for making refined, strong and resolved pots and or sculptures of their own design. |
Once you complete this course you will have the skills to join a Continuing Clay class.
Clay and firing are an additional cost.
