Fran regularly exhibits in group shows. Her work is inspired by memory, history and nostalgia investigated through the use of layering and experimentation with surface texture and photographic imagery. In 2018 she was awarded an Emerging Contemporaries prize from Craft ACT: Craft + Design Centre.
She has been a finalist in the Little Things Art Prize (2018) and the Inaugural Palliative Care Art Prize (2017)
Working under the name FRATTEMPO, Fran has developed functional designs for Cafes and restaurants including Rye Cafe in Braddon and Jackalope Hotels in Victoria.
A trained social worker, Fran’s skills with people now combine with her passion for the medium of clay, bringing a unique perspective to her teaching style.
