Perfect for those with some clay experience and knowledge. Continuing Clay Classes are an opportunity to work on your own ideas and projects with support from an experienced ceramics teacher.
Connecting through clay - develop
We have two types of Continuing Clay Classes available for intermediate and advanced potters.
Weekly Continuing Clay classes are perfect for those looking to build and refine their skills with guidance and support from an experienced teacher.
Classes are available weekdays, evenings and weekends.
Weekly Continuing Clay - Skills Focused courses provide an opportunity to spend a whole term focusing on specific ceramic skill set with a teacher skilled in this area. These classes will change from term to term. This term we are offering:
- Tableware with Chris Harford
- Porcelain with Jo Townsend
- Handbuilding - Post Firing Assesmblage with Anna O’Neale
A weekly class can provide an opportunity to mix with like minded people and explore your creativity in a supportive environment. Participants enjoy the opportunity to relax, share knowledge and ideas, as well as building friendship and support networks.
Our teachers are skilled in both handbuilding and wheel throwing techniques and can help you develop ideas and refine your skills as you explore your personal style.
Teachers will often choose a theme or specific skill as a focus for those who wish to explore and stretch their skills or participants can work on their own projects with support.
A perfect break from your regular routine.
COVIDSafe practices are in place for all classes.
