Chief Executive Officer: Canberra Potters Society
- Leading ceramic arts not-for-profit organisation
- Diverse CEO role reporting to an experienced Board
- Provide visionary direction and outstanding arts administration, informed by experience within an Australian arts or cultural or public institution, significant events/festival, ceramics and related arts practice, or education provider
- Canberra based (a mandatory requirement)
- Tertiary qualifications in arts administration or curatorial studies or related fields desirable
- Organisational management experience essential
Canberra Potters offers an international artist-in-residence program, professional workshops, compressive facilities open to members, a gallery and retail outlet. It is the leading ceramic arts organisation in the ACT, with links to national institutions and supported by artsACT.
Seeking a person with exceptional leadership and management skills and a passion for Australian ceramics – a person who will work with the Board to take Canberra Potters to the next stage of excellence in delivering ceramics arts education, engaging with the community, developing talent and showcasing professional ceramics artists and their practice.
REMUNERATION
A starting salary of $120,000 + superannuation (negotiable) for a three-year contract with an option to renew.
