Alya Khan
Alya has been making ceramic work for over 10 years and completed her Honours at the ANU in 2015. Her current practice features paper-clay building structures interpreting typical cityscapes. These works were shown as part of Canberra Potters EASS exhibition in 2016.
Her current work sees Alya involved in the exploration of experimental methods in the creation of functional pots and sculptural pieces. Her studio at the Watson Arts Centre allows her the permanency to establish her practice and pursue further exhibition opportunities.
